Mother’s Day Out

The Mother’s Day Out Program’s primary purpose is to teach, guide, and love children; to make a lifelong impression on their lives, and in the lives of their families; and to teach them about the love of Jesus Christ. We aim to meet the needs of children spiritually, physically, intellectually, socially, and emotionally. Our curriculum is Bible-based, and uses the learning center concept. The Program has classes for children ages two to four.

Each month has a different theme (for example, October’s theme is “We are Helpers”), and children are taught letters, numbers, colors, shapes, a Bible verse, and a Bible story. The four-year olds are also taught to read color names, their names, their addresses, and their phone number. The Program follows the Rhea County School System’s calendar, with slight variations as to the beginning (August) and ending of the term (May). Children are placed in classes according to their age by September 30. We go to the public Library for Story Time on the second Tuesday of each month. There are also parties and various special days throughout the year. The children get a chance to show friends and family what they have learned at the Year End Program when they get a certificate (twos and threes) or a cap and diploma (fours).

Enroll your child and experience the wonder as you watch them learn to interact with others, and grow and develop their own special skills!

PRE-ENROLLMENT
2009 - 2010

It is time to enroll your child in the Spring City United Methodist Church Mother's Day Out program. Each child needs to have an enrollment packet filled out and notarized (at any local bank) as soon as possible, because it is a first come first serve basis. The daily fee will be $15 a day, and we operate Tuesdays and Thursdays. This fee is to be paid the first school day of each month. The annual supply fee is $60 and is due in August at the time of orientation. If you have any questions, please feel free to call Elise Keylon Williams, 664-2779, or the church office at 365-6324.
