Spring City united Methodist Church offers the use of its building as a meeting place for community non-profit organizations. Sharing our building is important to us, and some of the organizations who use it include:
- Boy Scouts
- Cub Scouts
- Kiwanas
- Women’s Clubs
- TVA Retirees
MOTHER’S DAY OUT – This is a program created for Preschoolers ages 2-5. A secure constant, and caring atmosphere allows our program to be more than a baby-sitting service. M.D.O.’s goal is to guide children in experiences that build good self-image, foster creativity, teach appreciation for the world, and develop awareness of all persons as God’s children. M.D.O. operates from 8:30-2:30 every Tuesday and Thursday during the school year. The children participate in physical activities, learning activities, crafts and music.
- See Children’s Ministries or the Mother’s Day Out page
MINISTERIAL ASSOCIATION – We also are part of the North Rhea Ministerial Association and work through them to help in a variety of ways such as food, clothing, electricity, etc… for the needy in our community. Our Daily Bread is also a part of this ministry.
RECREATIONAL MINISTRIES – The Family Life Center is open Monday – Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. for walking. This is a great place to walk in a climate controlled area. Upward Basketball is a very successful addition to our program. We welcome all people of the community to join in these times of recreational exercise.
