Kidspring Children’s Program

Throughout the month of January we will be studying “Snowed Inn.” During this wintry series, kids will learn about the promises God made through stories in the Bible. They will see that God is not just a promise maker, but a promise keeper!

New Bible Studies

There will be a bible study for women beginning Tuesday, February 6th at 10:00 AM, in the Fellowship Hall, facilitated by Wendy Thurman.

There will be an evening bible study for women beginning Wednesday, January 31st at 6:00 PM, in the Library, facilitated by Susan Maddux. Join us for an in-depth and very personal examination of this great story of threat and deliverance. If you’ve ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the study for you. Just as it was tough in Esther’s day, it is tough today. The Old Testament story of Esther is a profile in courage and contains many modern parallels for today’s overloaded and stressed woman. Esther, while a queen, lived as an outsider in a hostile environment. Women will learn strong lessons of faith, providence, and hope to equip them to live courageously “for such a time as this.”

Welcome to the Spring City United Methodist Church!

Spring City UMC is a faith community that focuses on worship, faith in action, growth through study, and fellowship as community. We are an active part of the Cleveland District of the United Methodist Church. Our church is a place where people can belong.

As a church, we seek to be disciples of Jesus Christ. We believe that the Bible is relevant for today and try to apply it in every area of our lives. We believe that people matter to God - that YOU matter to God. That’s why we’d love for you to be a part of our family of faith. People at SCUMC genuinely enjoy going to church. They find something here that meets a need in their lives, and we hope you will too.  Please come and join in, and see if you find that home as well. We encourage all congregants to become involved in the ministries of the church. It makes a difference when you serve side by side with others. You get to know folks in a whole different way, and you know that you have made a difference. Check out the various links on the website and see what is available and where you might feel comfortable. If you have a passion for another ministry, find a couple of friends and let’s see who God is calling us to serve!
